Quiet Luxury for Pups

I am delighted to introduce Milton Grooming, formerly known as Grooming By Karin.

A brand-new, purpose-built dog grooming pod nestled in a quiet corner of Groves Yard in Milton-under-Wychwood.

My grooming pod provides a calm, comfortable and personal environment where your dog can receive professional grooming with plenty of care and attention.

Groves Yard is also a lovely, convenient location for owners, with a café and a selection of other independent businesses on site. So, while your dog is being pampered, you can enjoy a coffee, browse the other businesses or simply take some time for yourself.

At Milton Grooming, I believe grooming should be about more than just making your dog look their best. It’s about creating a positive experience where every dog feels comfortable, cared for and treated as an individual.

Professional grooming, personal care, happy dogs.

Dog Hair Recycling

At Milton Grooming, I’m proud to recycle the dog hair collected during your dog’s groom through The Green Groomers Collective.

Rather than going into the bin and ultimately ending up in landfill, your dog’s hair is collected and given a new purpose. Recycled dog hair can be used in a variety of environmental projects, including helping to clean up oil spills.

So, your dog’s discarded coat can help make a difference — less waste, more recycling, and a greener approach to grooming. Learn more here.

Karin is amazing with communication and I couldn’t praise her enough from start to finish.
Thank you so much."

"My reactive dog came to be groomed recently for the first time and Karin did an amazing job. She explained everything beforehand and took her time with him so he was comfortable. He looked and smelled amazing when we collected him. We have booked our next visit"

 About Me

fe375154-18b3-47f1-b015-f2187e53c43a.jpg

Hi, I’m Karin, the face behind Milton Grooming.

My journey in dog grooming began in 2018, and since then I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of grooming environments. I started my career with a larger grooming company, where I progressed into a senior management role before moving on to a smaller independent business as they opened their second branch.

After several years in the industry, I decided to take a break from dog grooming and explore other career opportunities. However, after having my son last year, I found myself drawn back to the career I had always loved. This time, I decided to take the leap and create something of my own — and Milton Grooming was born.

I hold a Level 2 qualification in Dog Grooming, a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management, and have up-to-date Animal First Aid training. I believe that learning never stops, and I’m committed to continually developing my knowledge and skills. I regularly attend seminars and educational courses and plan to work towards more advanced qualifications in the future.

For me, grooming is about so much more than creating a beautiful finish. It’s about getting to know each dog as an individual, building trust and making their grooming experience as calm, comfortable and positive as possible.

I’m so excited to welcome you and your dogs to Milton Grooming and to continue doing what I love, in a space I’ve created with their wellbeing at the heart of it.
